About Me

Hello ladies! My name is Allison DenBraven. I am 20 years old and I love doing nail designs! I am currently attending Northern Illinois University for my Master's degree in Accounting. I started this nail blog just for fun because I love painting my nails and I wanted to share my designs with the world. Every time my sister comes home from Washington state we sit in our living room and paint our nails and watch television. Of course it always ended with me painting everyone's nails including my own. But I love doing it so I never really minded. I've never really been the girl that goes and gets her nails done at a nail salon. I've always much rather painted them myself. I love thinking of new crazy designs to try. 

I have two sisters. The oldest, Megan, is 24 years old and works for Lowe's hardware store. The middle sister, Rebecca, is 22 years old and married to the amazing Philip. Rebecca actually runs her own blog called The Library Canary. If you love to read books and novels, check out her blog she has some amazing book suggestions. My mother, Stacey, has finally reached her goal of becoming a teacher. She teaches seventh and eighth grade and she loves it. My father, Randy, maintains a ranch in California. I rarely get to see my sister or my dad since they live on the other side of the country from me. Starting my nail blog was another way that I could stay connected to my sister and now we talk almost everyday.
