Themed Tuesday

Hello everyone! Today is themed Tuesday! The last themed nail design I posted was the Breaking Bad nails. Speaking of that show, I am very sad that it has all come to an end. What am I going to do with my Sundays now? Anyways, the theme I chose for this week revolved around those yellow squishy guys from Despicable Me, the minions! 

This design was extremely time consuming. It took me almost two and a half hours. However, after seeing the finished product, all that time was worth it. How did I do this? One simply answer, nail detail kit. My sister bought a detail kit for me last Christmas that contains 25 different detail brushed that I can use in any color that I own. As you can see, I added an accent nail of the minions pant color. I did this for two reasons. One, I did not want to have to draw another minion face. Two, I liked how that accent nail picked up the blue in the other nails. I love the minions from Despicable Me. There are a lot of young kids that are going to want this design!
